Jamie's Pick : The Inn at Lackawaxen

Make a LEFT out of dealership parking lot(Route 300)Continue until you reach the intersection of 300 and route 52. Get in the left lane, and make LEFT on route 52(west). Take 52 approximately 30 miles to Ellenville. Make a LEFT onto 209(south)heading to Cuddybackville. Make a RIGHT onto County Route 7 to Forestburght. Then make a LEFT onto Route 42(south).You will then make a left on Route 97(north), where you will pass Cedar Rapids (a nice bar for a pit stop). Go about 30 miles until you get to Roebling Bridge, just passed Minisink on your left. Look for the sign for Roebling Bridge, and make that LEFT. Almost immediately, make another LEFT onto Scenic Drive. Lackawaxen Inn will be on the left, just past the post office and bank.

Steve's Pick: 7 Lakes Drive (Bear Mountain)

  When leaving our dealership, make a RIGHT until you get to the light at route 207. Make a LEFT at the light, and proceed down route 207 about 5 miles until you get to the 5 Corners in Vails Gate. You'll want to stay in the center lane, and go STRAIGHT through the light. You are now on route 32.  Go about 3 to 4 miles until you go over a small bridge where you will want to get into the LEFT ONLY lane. Make that LEFT onto Quacker Avenue.  Go approximately 1 mile on Quacker, and then you will see a sign for route 9W. Make that RIGHT onto route 9w southbound. Ride on route 9w approximately 8-10 miles to the Bear Mountain Circle. At the circle, make the 2nd RIGHT onto route 9W southbound to Bear Mountain. You will then see signs for 7 Lakes Drive, you are at your destination. The ride is about 18 miles long. A nice place to stop at while you are in that area is the Rhodes North Tavern. It is located in the heart of Sloatsburg.
